Realtor Jake Drake has been helping buyers and sellers throughout Humboldt County for over 15 years.  Jake calls the beautiful Eel River valley home and has lived throughout the county for over 35 years, so she is knowledgeable on all things Humboldt.

Jake's services at Ferndale Real Estate often go beyond just finding the right home for her buyers.  "People are not only looking for that perfect home but also a community," she says.  After getting to know her clients, Jake is able to show them the differences between the many diverse communities that make up Humboldt County--from the college town of Arcata to the suburbs of Eureka to the small town feel of Fortuna or the many charms of the Victorian Village of Ferndale.   Whether someone is in the market for a second home in town or a summer home at Ruth Lake, Jake is able to help educate her buyers on all aspects of their potential new community.

An outdoor enthusiast, Jake is happy to direct visitors to where the action is.  She enjoys hiking, cycling, horseback riding, rowing on the bay, water skiing at Ruth Lake and snow skiing at nearby Mt. Shasta.  Jake has a passion for gardening and cooking and can guide you to the perfect area nurseries, markets and restaurants.

Jake is extremely active in the community; she is a board member of the Fortuna Sunrise Rotary and belongs to Ferndale and Fortuna Chambers of Commerce.   She is a member of the Humboldt Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Having been a resident of the Eel River Valley since 1970, Frank knows the area well. He can easily point out the characteristics that clients are seeking in that special piece of real estate, whether near the cooler coast or inland where the temperatures rise.

“Humboldt County is made up of many smaller communities with rural settings and microclimates all around,” says Frank. “Somewhere there is a setting just right for you.”

Having two children keeps Frank busy when he’s not on the job. His son Franco, is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, and looking to extend his education at Humboldt State University. His daughter Mia attends Fortuna High School and is very active in sports and student government.
